Driving from Cody, Wyoming through the east entrance of Yellowstone, we viewed the Buffalo Bill Dam. High winds and cool temperatures kept us from spending time outside the motorhome. Dick managed to venture outside to take pictures of a moose couple that live just outside the east entrance to the park.
We camped at Bridge Bay Campground in Yellowstone - with no electric or water hookups. Our motorhome furnace kept us warm for sleeping, a refuge from the 34 degree temperatures at night. In the morning, we headed toward Grand Tetons - stopping to walk the boardwalks around the West Thumb Geyser Basin. My favorite thermal was named "Bluebell" for its aqua blue color.
