We spent the entire day at the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum. This amazing collection of artifacts and displays provided insight into the wild west, during the days of Buffalo Bill Cody. The museum has five divisions: Yellowstone Natural History (scenes of animal life, etc.), Buffalo Bill (with displays of pioneer western living and more), Western art (great paintings and sculptures), Plains Indians (with a glimpse of the life of Indians in Wyoming - past and present), and Firearms (more rifles, pistols, etc.). Outside was the sculpture garden and the original home of Buffalo Bill Cody (moved from his birthplace in LeClaire, Iowa). This was a day for learning and enjoyment.
Our evening plans to attend the Cody Rodeo were drowned with a rainstorm that began at 6 pm and lasted most of the night.
