Because of our close proximity to Glacier National Park, we decided to spend a day in West Glacier on the "Going to the Sun Road". The weather was perfect and Logan Pass (at the top of the road) was decorated with a blanket of wildflowers. We hiked among the mountain goats and big horn sheep who ignored our presence.
Glacier Park has a shuttle bus that travels from the west side to Logan Pass, on a steep narrow road. Once on the top, we hiked for an hour then caught the shuttle down to East Glacier for lunch.
