Our stop tonight is Billings, Montana - near the Yellowstone River. We spent yesterday in the North Dakota Badlands territory, which is quite different than SD Badlands (more vegetation and herds of buffalo). We endured the cold temperatures and light rain to enjoy an ampitheatre musical show in Medora, ND. The music perked our cowboy spirits.
As we approached Billings, the terrain changed to resemble foothills of the Rockies. This is a lovely spot and the sun is shining. So good to be back to the mountains.
