Serenity in New Hampshire

Traveling into New Hampshire, we landed at our best campsite so far, this year. Long Island Bridge Campground is on a peninsula of Lake Winnepesaukee, New Hampshire. The lake is central to the state, with mountains around (Mount Washington at more than 6000 feet is just north) and a mecca for water sports. The campground is tiered to allow all the motorhomes access to a waterview. We have a spot on the second tier and can watch the boaters and swimmers enjoy the water. The campground has all the "goodies": cable TV, water, good electric, sewer and trash pick-up from the campsite! Several of the sites are for seasonal campers who enjoy summer months in this area. The lady in the motorhome next to us has bird feeders and flower gardens around her site...clearly, a seasonal camper.

We plan to launch the kayak today...when the weather warms to 70 degrees.
Ah.h.h.h cool breezes and tall pine trees. Doesn't get better than this.
