"On The Road Again"

Two driving days through (parts) of four states, watching the scenery change from Florida roadside ditches filled with wildflowers...to Alabama Magnolia trees in full bloom and on through wetlands of Mississippi and Louisiana swamps.  The rainy, hot spring days created a lush landscape of purple, yellow and white wildflowers, making yesterday's complaints about the weather appear foolish.

The first days of our summer motor-cruise can be frustrating, and this was no different.  Relearning how to connect the satellite TV receiver was our first challenge.  We vow (once more) to write the instructions down, to forego that problem another year.  Driving has been a breeze and we have seen more RV's on the road this year - a reflection of the improved economy?

Tomorrow, our destination is Katy, Texas for the graduation of grand-daughter, Lauren, from high-school.  We are proud of her achievements and look forward to wishing her well.
