Home Again.....back to Florida on Saturday. Visiting Kathy, Brad and family in Fort Worth was good for the soul. We helped organize Julia's room for a motorcycle storage facility (while Brad lives in Japan). The girls enjoyed sleeping in the "cabin" (Julia's word for the motorhome).
Heading east through Louisiana was a hot trip on poor roads, as Dick preferred to stay away from the Interstate. We both relaxed when driving into Florida. The gulf coast beckoned and we drove to the sugar-like beaches of the Panhandle to walk in the Gulf. Tourism was in full swing...even with the heat of summer. Several of the camping places were booked solid, so we drove north to stay away from the coast.
Not much has changed in Boynton since we left. The bridge replacement and street widening project on Old Boynton Road looks the same as it did in May. Our church choir welcomed us back as though we sang with them every Sunday. The postman brought all the mail that was held during our leave, complete with advertisements.
We are planning for another excursion that begins in mid-July and includes the Alaska cruise. Should be much fun.
