The beauty of the western states is awesome. Crater Lake was only open from the western entrance to Discovery Point, and snow banks surrounding the viewing areas. The lake is surreal with clear blue waters. Leaving Oregon and driving to the northern California redwood forests (actually they are called groves) was a breath-taking experience. Enjoy the photos?
